Android App UX Research

Initial Project Scope

In conjunction with a Cal Poly Capstone Class, an iOS app has been developed for use by Cru Central Coast that helps with communication to students on campus. As work begins on the equivalent Android app, design work is needed that fits with native Android style.

Research

Each research session involved up to 7 participants. Each of the participants was given a link to a Google Site that I set up. The site lists the tasks, additional information and updates, and the links to the prototype and feedback form. In each round, 4–6 participants completed the feedback form. After conducting research, I analyzed the feedback and compiled the notes into research reports. The reports contained the research objectives, user tasks, top findings, recommendations, and any other additional notes.
