MAGAZINE LAYOUT

This class assignment was an exercise in arranging type and making design choices within certain guidelines. There are 4 versions of this paper with modifications ranging from color to alignment.

We were asked to find and edit written content as well as images. One challenge that I ran into was the constraint of using my columns in a consistent, yet varying way. We were also asked to include a bulleted list, a certain number of images and headings per page, and had to keep all design principles in mind. This definitely put me in a box but overall I realized the importance of making both small and bold decisions in design.
